How to set to receive mail from actions mod_evasive – Apache Web Server

1. It logam main SSH (via putty) si la webserver mergem in "/usr/local/apache/conf". The commands "ls" a folder to see files "conf". Depending on the version can be used mod_evasive.conf after mod_evasive20.conf.

2. In folderul "conf" give the following command:

pico mod_evasive20.conf

pico ssh putty mod_evasive conf

3. Edit the email address you wish to receive notifications, in linia :

# DOSEmailNotify root@yourdomain.com

4. Delete "#" din fata "DOSEmailNotify" Apoi salvam fisierul.

mod_evasive_mail_setup

5. Save & Restart Apache Web Server.

From now on, directive DOSEmailNotify the module mod_evasive20.c was activated, and the server will send an email every time you pass a mod_evasive IP blacklist.
