Change Registered Owner & Organization Name in Windows XP si Windows 7

When install an operating system, during the installation process we are required by some data, including a Name of organization (Organization Name) and one owner of the system (Owner Name).
In Windows XP aceste informatii apar in System Properties > General (click dreapta pe My Compuer > Properties)

is in About Windows the Windows Vista one Windows 7.

*To access the “About Windows” after “Windows Information” open Run you tastam winver.exe > Enter.

How can we change the Organization Name and Owner Name in Windows (XP, Vista 7)

Microsoft does not offer any possibility of changing the names of these two administration panel (Control Panel), But if you want this, we can use registry editor al Windows. Registry Editor / Regedit.

1. Open Run and type “regedit” to open Windows Registry Editor.

2. In the registry editor go to :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\CurrentVersion

then looking in the right key: RegisteredOwner one RegisteredOrganization.

3. Right click and click “Modify” . In our case we took RegisteredOrganization where I had set no name.

4. The “Value Data” change the current name or add a name (if it was not set) apoi apasam OK.

Now I have changed “Organization Name”. Just as you can for Owner Name, modifying “RegisteredOwner”.
