I have two Windows XP systems on the same partition. How can I remove one XP.

How can we delete a Windows XP if you have two systems installed on one side.
1. First we must decide what Windows XP installed on the PC to stop and check which is the folder where Windows XP is installed that we want to keep. To see which is the Windows folder, deschidem Run box tastam si "% windir%". Enter Sau OK.
2. Bara Verificam in their a Windows Explorer which partition and folder system.
In cazul nostru C:\Windows is the operating system folder we want to keep.
Mergem in C: folder and delete the operating system we want to eliminate. The rule name is WinNT.
3. Now we want to make disappear operating system removed, of meniul the boat. The background appears black when you start the computer. To do this you have to Editam boot.ini.
Apasam tastele : Windows + Pause/Break to open System Properties. Tab-ul pe Mergem "Advanced" and we click on "Settings" of Startup and Recovery.
4. Click pe butonul Edit to change the boot.ini (before making changes you should save in a txt original lines.) Delete lines removed the operating system and keep only those of our system. The screenshot below marked with blue lines above system kept.
Salvam fisierul boot.ini, setam time "0" the "Time to display list of operating system" the apasam OK.
Restart computer.
After restart it will automatically load the operating system Windows XP ales of dvs.

Buna.Am si eu o problema, at the 2 windowsuri instalate in patitia c, dar nu imi apare cand pornesc pc pe ce windows vreau sa lucrez. Imi apare in partitia c windowsu normal cu toate fisiarele necesare si imi mai apare windows.old, am observat windows old pentru ca imi era plina patritia c.Intrebarea mea este:Daca sterg windows old mi se sterge windowsu sau mai trebuie sa intru si alt undeva??Ajutati-ma va rog/
ai reinstalat windows-ul fara sa formatezi C
poti sterge windows old dar iti ia ceva timp de sters.

Simple. Te duci pe una din partitii (ex.: D:/ ) partitia D nu o deschizi apesi tasta din dreapta de la mose si o sa-ti apara Format click pe el . Se deschide o fereastra Format si te anunta ca o sa pierzi toate datele din aceea partitie.Dupa ce te-ai asigurat ca le-ai salvat ii dai o formatere.Gataaa
Poti sa te apuci de alta gresala :)
am incercat si imi da eroare. spune sa renunt la toate utilitatile care folosesc acea partitie cu toate ca este goala.(sau cel putin asa pare, cu toate ca nu imi apare vreun folder pe ea imi recunoaste cu mai putin 2 gb din 15gb)

formatezi hard disc-ul D
Formatezi partitia D si editezi fisierul boot.ini, asemanator cu ce scrie mai sus, adica stergi linia care face referire la sistemul tau XP de pe partitia D, setezi timeout la 0, restartezi … enjoy.
Cred ca nu am uitat nimic, daca da, ma vor completa/corecta cei de la Stealth.
Nu aveti un tutorial si pentru doua sisteme windows xp instalate in doua partitii diferite? Ca am un calculator cu doua sisteme winxp instalate in doua partitii (unul in C si unul in D). Cum dispare cel din D?
mai demult am instalat VMware pe calculator si 4 sisteme de operare windows 7
dar sa instalez 2 sisteme XP pe un singur hard disk cu o singura partitie eu nu am vazut, o exista dar tre sa citesc tutorialele in limba engleza de la sursele tale stealthsettings.com
