De cateva zile, s-a lansat ultima versiune de Firefox . 3.0 Release Candidate 1 (RC1) , disponibil la download (si in limba romana) pentru Windows, Linux si Mac OS.  Probabil aceasta este ultima versiune inainte de cea finala care este programata sa fie lansata in luna iunie a acestui an.
Firefox 3 RC1, vine cu o serie de imbunatatiri substantiale pe partea de grafica, securitate, functionalitate si performanta in comparatie cu ultima versiune finalizata 2.0.0.14. Mai multe detalii despre noutatile noului browser gasiti pe “Firefox 3 (Release Candidate) Release Notes” .

Pentru mine, trecerea de la versiunea 2.0.0.14 la 3.0 RC1, s-a facut cu o mica surpriza. Pe noua versiune mi-au disparut butoanele de navigatie “Back” si “Forward” .  Am vazut pe Google, ca nu sunt singurul care cauta butoanele de “back” si “forward”. Nu stiam daca este o problema la mine, sau daca noul browser nu prevede aparitia acestor butoane. Ar fi fost stupida a doua varianta … deci problema era la mine si rezolvarea foarte simpla :

View - > Toolbars - > Customize… - > Restore Default Set - > DONE .

Cam atat trebuie facut :)

*Daca nu ati trecut inca la noua versiune, trebuie sa stiti ca momentan add-on-urile si temele (add-ons & themes) sunt foarte putine pentru Firefox 3.0. Temele, chiar inexistente la ora actuala.
